Fitting the 'A' framed canopies:

1. determine the exact position of the fitted canopy and mark out where the brackets are to be fixed.

2. Pre-drill the brackets and fix to the wall using suitable fixings.

3. Hold the canopy in place and mark out the position of the small retaining brackets.

4. Take the canopy down and fix the small retaining brackets to the gallows brackets. Pre-drill the back truss and fix to the wall using suitable fixings

5. Secure canopy to gallows by driving home screws through pre fixed small retaining brackets.

6.Secure top bar in place to create sturdy apex.

7. The canopy is now ready to tile/thatch/paint to your individual requirements.

8. If using wood turning attach with wood glue .

Mono pich canopy:

1.Determine where you require the level of the front of your canopy to be and mark off.

2.Measure from this point up 650mm. Place the top edge of the back plate on this mark and fix to the wall using suitable fixings.

3. Place the brackets at right angles against this plate and fix to the wall using suitable fixings.

4. insert purlin between brackets to fit snugly into cut out notches, screw in to place.

5. Evenly space rafters. Screw into place.

6. screw ply roof into place.

7. the canopy is now ready to be finished as required.

 

Fitting flat roofed canopy

1.Determine the height required for the underside of the canopy and mark on the wall.

2.Remove ply lid (not yet attached), attach canopy to the wall from inside of canopy, the wieght will need to be supported until brackets are secure.

3. Attach ply lid.

4.Determine location of gallows brackets and attach to wall and canopy.

5. finish as required.
